It is the policy of Guardian to maintain a safe, healthy and productive workplace for all employees. Intimidation, threats, creating a hostile work environment and violent acts threaten the quality of our work and the safety of our employees and customers. Therefore, Guardian will not tolerate inappropriate or intimidating behavior, or other threats of actual or potential violence in the workplace.
Guardian and our facilities reserve the right, at all times, and without prior notice, to inspect any, and all, company property for the purpose of determining if this policy, or any other company policy, has been violated. All employees vehicles and containers brought onto company property are subject to inspection by company in the presence of the employee at any time the company has a reasonable suspicion that this policy has been violated and such an inspection is reasonably necessary in the investigation of such suspected violation.
No inspection of an employee’s property will be conducted without the consent of the employee; however, failure to give consent to such inspection will be cause for disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
